Business Intelligence Unit

In a rapidly changing economical environment sparked by CAFTA-DR, and the new laws being enacted, the business community faces many challenges, some very difficult to resolve. To address these challenges, Central-Law, through its partner Rusconi, Valdez, Medina & Asociados – Central Law El Salvador, has created a new line of services, with the clear objective to provide its clients, on both the local and the regional level, with the tools to benefit from this commercial treaty.

With the services available through the Firm’s BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE UNIT, our clients will posses the tools and the necessary expertise, that will provide them with the possibility of increasing the number of their exportable goods, and on the long run improve their competitiveness throughout the region in areas as diverse as exports, imports, services, etc.

The main problem faced by entrepreneurs is a vague knowledge of where their commercial competitive advantages lie vis-a-vis CAFTA-DR, and only a limited number of entrepreneurs knows how to access the North American market and identifies the financial/commercial instruments that facilitate such access. On the other hand uncertainty is a common denominator, and if this continues a vast majority will not profit from the treaty.

Central-Law’s clients will have the industrial intelligence that will allow them to focus their efforts in the appropriate market platforms, a key factor for the competitive positioning of their business. A diversity of commercial alternatives will be at their disposition. The same tools will also help foreign investors to determine which the best opportunities to invest in the region are.

This effort capitalizes the expertise of both local and foreign professionals specialized on the matter. The leadership of this project will be hosted at Central Law’s offices in El Salvador, from which the regional efforts will be coordinated
